Replication of a folding bed gag from Freddy vs. Jason for Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights.  The effect is that there is a victim sleeping in the bed and Jason folds him in half by folding the bed. The frame is made from steel, and the two bed halves are on spring-loaded hinges to reduce performer fatigue. One side of the mattress has false legs attached and the other side has room for a performer with the transition being covered by bed sheets.
